      TOO DAM MUCH!!
But with Indian's 40-53 model, which I ran and still have, I used to believe 300 lbs. One one return from D-port in cold rain my passengers (young-uns) elected to ride in the chase van, and we removed the hack in about 10 minutes and hoisted it on top of the van's rack. That frame is heavy. ... add bulky passenger and the "first aid kit", and everybody's jackets and etc's, and yer tail-end-charlie for sure. .... but they won't let you get lost.
