  • 1937 Simplex

I have recently inherited a 1937 Simplex Servi-cycle. I'm going to start to restore it. I would like some advice on if I should chrome the wheels and handlebars or if I should have them powder coated. I'm thinking of having the frame powder coated as well, any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Avoid powdercoating. It doesn't have the right look for an antique.

I agree with Chris; powdercoating is not proper for an antique. It's also expensive, looks funny, and gets into places you don't want it. You may also want to post some pictures of your Servi-Cycle because it may be too nice to restore and you may diminish it's value by restoring it. There are people here that can advise you.
