Fender Tips

Looking for some "good" fender trim tips for a '66 Glide. Bought a set from J&P and got what I probably expected to get (but how do you know before you buy, right?) from them... a nicely packaged shiny set of Taiwan tips that don't fit for ****..

I presume that VTwin or Custom Chrome or Drag Specialties all carry the same crap?

Anybody make a GOOD reproduction on these? Every other chrome piece on the Old Hog I was able to repair and rechrome except these tips. Pot metal was cracked and the machine screw holes were pretty buggered up.

J&P sells the same V-twin junk from Taiwan, they just repackage it in their own packages with thier logo. Actually, I've made the 'experiment' of buying them them too, and I swear all their stuff is V-twin rejects.
