  • Rubber Tube for Acetylene Lights

    Hi everyone.
I have Acetylene lighting on my 22 Standard, and would like to make the bike look more finished by actually running the correct (if available) rubber tube from the headlight to the acetylene generator, and to the tail light.
I will not be using the light ever, it's just for cosmetics.
Does any one know of a supplier for this tube? I haven't been able to find any.
I also need a burner for my headlight. I keep watching eBay, but haven't seen any to date.
Thanks for any advice, and best wishes.

    Ken.

        Acetylene tubing

Restoration Supply Company in California supplies the correct tubing. They supply restoration supplies for cars also. Phone is 1.800.306.7008 15182 Highland Valley Rd. Escondido, Ca 92025. I got my burners on E-bay. It is possible to get new tips but you would have to make the extension tube and cement the tip into the tube. I would be interested in making a run of burners if there was enough demand but I don't think the demand is there to justify setting up to make burners. There is also a company that still makes the mangin mirrors for the gas headlights but again there isn't enough demand to order any and the price is prohibitive.
