Servi-car hubcap

HI,

I'm about finished restoring a 1949 Harley Servi-car. I need to find the rear wheel hubcap that's used on spoked rear wheels with mechianical brakes. The hubcap would have a diameter of approx 4 1/2". Harley's part number is 83960-37. If you have one please ley me know. Dick Erickson

Hi Dick...

When I restored my '46 Servi-car I also looked a long time for the hubcaps. I really like using original parts whenever possible. But, I couldn't find them so I bought the reproductions from V-Twin. In this case I was pleasantly suprised how well they were made. They had the correct lip on the side and where the three clips were attached they used the correct rivits. I guess the judges liked the bike also, because at the second judging I got 98 3/4 points. Good luck on your '49.
