  • Schebler H help needed

I acquired a basket case 1916 Indian Power Plus that included a (suposedly) rebuilt Schebler model H carburetor. Something told me to disassemble this thing just to be sure things were OK before installing. It turns out that the main spray nozzle (jet) is missing from the carb body. I tried Competition Distributing in South Dakota for this part but they tell me that Harley didn't use this type of nozzle so they don't carry them. Do any of you out there have one of these or know of a source for early Schebler parts?

    Thanks!!

    4-Paws,
Contact me p.j.thomson@actrix.co.nz as I can supply you these as a n.o.s. part.
When they were originally fitted they were soldered in place so they wouldn't move and then filed or ground off so they cleared the float.
They ended up looking very second-hand when finally fitted but so long as the main bore is undamaged they work just fine.
I have never seen a Model H that didn't have one fitted and that means to all brands including Harley.
    Regards, Tommo
