  • Right Hand Shift Gate And Linkage 1947-1948

    I have a three speed reverse shifter gate, lever and linkage on ebay for best offer. Maybe for 47-48 side valve.

    Most likely from a Servi-car. Used through 1973 models.

              The 45" sidevalve crossed under the tank. As you can see in this factory photo the Big Twin sidevalves crossed over the transmission as the OHV did.

                  No it didn't Chris, Jerry is right. The BT SV had a cross shaft on the tanks.

                      That picture is a UMG and not an example of a normal BT SV.

                        Of course it is different. So are all the others with right side shifters. The parts book does confirm that Robbie is correct. As usual.
