  • Seeking original 1948 Indian Chief parts

I own a unrestored 1948 Chief however sometime during it's history a few parts were changed. I have managed to replace some of them with original parts but I need an original muffler/tail pipe and a sea foam blue generator belt guard (mine was chromed). Any information about these parts would be appreciated. I also have an original Bucco windscreen, unfortunately the bottom half of the screen was broken during shipment. I will try to repair the screen but if there is one out there I'd be interested. I can supply measurements if required. I am in NSW, Australia.

NOS Buco parts turn up on EBAY quite often, I would think any auto body paint shop should be able to paint your generator belt guard to match followed by some careful aging to match the rest of the bike, Very fine stee, wool used wet to remove some gloss, add a few minor scratches, whatever it takes to match the bike.
