  • Proper screwdriver to use for the primary chain adjustment?

    Question:

    For 1946 Chief;
    What is the proper screwdriver or bit to use for the primary chain adjustment?

    Most screw drivers I have will not fit within the Primary Chain Adjustment nut
    OR are either too long or too short.

    From what I have found seems to be "cabinet" type driver (no widening between
    shaft and blade) with a four inch shaft.

    If I was to chase down a Snap-On, or Mac Truck; or search Craftsman or Amazon
    what would I ask for????

    Best fit I have is a unmarked flat blade bit from an old basic "gun-smithing kit".
    I'd prefer to have tools dedicated to the bike.

    Or if anyone has a spare they would be willing to sell please send me a PM.

    Thanks.

    Just get a regular screw driver and grind the sides flat....done.
