    What would be a fair market price for this motorcycle ( matching number and comes with ownership ).

      i would hazard a guesstimate of 12-14k on a good day.
      not a big following for the early 45's.

        1936 rl

        Having just gone through the process of selling off a large load of 45" stuff for an old friend I have taken on a new appreciation for the model. About a fourth of the stuff was RL. RL's are like mini-VL's and a model you don't see often. This one is a sweetheart with it's original plates and patina. I'm thinking 15K all day long.

            I would be more circumspect, as at a couple of the recent Las Vegas auctions some 45s were fetching more than VLs, perhaps because of their scarcity. Likewise you see occasional Indian Scouts going for more than Chiefs.
