  • K model and Sporty part identification

    Hi. Hope everyone is well.
A bit over a year ago I bought a large quantity of iron head Sportster parts to try and get a few of my projects completed.
During the clean and identification of these parts, I have come across a sprinkling of early K model parts.
Currently I am sorting through boxes of trap doors, gears, shifter pawl carriers, etc. Some of the differences I have noticed in the pawl carriers from K model to 1972 Sportster don’t seem to be chronicled anywhere. I’m hoping the brains trust here might be able to help narrow down the time periods of these obscure parts.
I’m thinking the pawl on the left is 1952 and working through to 1973 on the right is easier. I must stress that I am only guessing. Feel free to verify or slap me down.

Ok. Hopefully this is a less harder question...can anyone clear up what years these "gear shifter cams" correspond to?
