  • Australian 101 Cylinders plus Sports Scout Flywheels

I bought a set of cylinders a number of years back at the suggestion of George Yarocki.
I had them nickle plated when I first got them and never used them.
At the time I bought these cylinders, I still had two rears in very poor condition and no fronts. The finish on the original cylinders looked a lot smoother as I remember.
Now that these are plated, they look like crap - has anyone discovered a way to smooth out these fins to make them look presentable on a fresh restoration?
I think it's time I put this engine together.
    .
This leads me to another problem - I don'y like the looks of all the 101 flywheels I have.
Somewhere I picked up that you could use later Sports Scout flywheels with some sort of adapter so the the 101 pinion and drive shafts could be adapted to the later (larger) tapers.
Did I hear this correctly and if yes, Where can I purchase these adapters?
    Thanks
    Sam
