    IIRC that's the 650 engine shared by Matchless, twin cam (like Triumph, 1 intake cam and 1 exhaust cam).
    These had a center main bearing, originally thought to be a good idea but many failed.

        Thanks for posting that JoJo. Like you said, it is hypnotizing, and the best motorcycle cut-away I've seen as well. When I was about 10 years old, our neighbor, who was employed by Pratt & Whitney in West Haven, Conn. took our Cub Scout troop to a open house where they had kinetic cut-away piston, and jet engines, as well as mysterious displays, and dioramas galore. Wow! I would pay to see that today

          I share the same feelings Eric. Visited the Henry Ford Greenfield Village, and the Ford Rouge Plant Tours, at a young age during elementary school. It was a double whammy, getting out of classes, plus witnessing amazing culture & research and development from the turn of the century on up! *Speaking of Henry, he owned and rode a Henderson Four.
