  • Tips, Tricks, Techniques for bending oil lines?

I have searched around but haven't found much info on how to bend oil lines into the smooth flowing organic shapes like Harley VLs have. Specifically the one that goes to the oil pump itself is pretty tricky. The typical hand benders have too tight of a radius. I can get close to "nice looking" by using sand and those spring wrappers but its not good enough. I'm still missing something! Would anyone be willing to share their techniques or equipment?

Before plating of any kind one can use heat to soften the tubing in the area needing bending while using the tools you have mentioned.

You mean annealing before bent cold, Paps?

Bending hot is a whole 'nother art.

PS: I'm finding annealing sprockets ain't as easy as just tossing them in a fire.
