  • wtb: 1925 JD rear cylinder

I took my 25JDCB for a ride yesterday & blew the top off the rear cylinder.
So now I am looking for a good used 74" rear cylinder to replace it.
    Any leads appreciated.

My guess if you took the time to analyze it that one of 3 things caused the cylinder to blow.

          1. Timing off.
          2. Intake leak.
          3. Overbored cylinders.

            Overbored without proper stress plates.

No, it was bored and sleeved which leaves a sharp ridge at the time in a blind hole thus a fracture zone. Another cylinder is taking it's place.
