  • 1936-38 Distributor Cover

Can somebody post an image(s) of a 1936-38 Big Twin Distributor cover HD Part #1567-36 type 1. According Palmer, type 2 was used from 1939 to 1963. Guess the earlier one has a larger "nipple" where the bail snaps on it. Thanks

Jim Long had made the dies to put the big nipple on later caps. I don't know who got his stuff.

PS. It doesn't distribute anything. It is a timer sometimes called a circuit breaker. :-)

It distributes the smoke from the battery to the coil. Isn't that how electrics work?

That is the built in overload detector.
