First road run

    That is true and since a lot of the areas are not service friendly for cell phones or GPS it is another reason to make sure your ride is up to the task. Make sure your bike is ready to ride 100-175 miles per day and either have some tools or know someone who does and take care of any issue encountered during the days ride in the parking lot in the evening. There will be plenty of folks around with knowledge to help. I know I have helped and have seen countless other who have as well. I think most folks who go on a road run end up really enjoying them and usually come on others so take a chance and go to one!

      ^^^What Rollo said plus it's more fun & safer to ride with a friend or three.... I've never seen anyone left on the side of the road at any road run.
