The generator that came with my '28 JD basket case is a 'C' generator. From what I've seen, the 'D' generator would be correct. Any fitment or other issues using the C?
Also, along the same lines, has non-adjustable type oil pump, but has bracketry attached for adjustable bits. Anything to consider using earlier type oil pump until I come across correct unit?

Edit: I don't think adjustable is the right word for the oil pump, perhaps variable is a better descriptor.
