  • Judging Status

I'm thinking about taking my bike to the Omaha show in February. This will be my first time entering a bike in the AMCA judging. In filling out the Pre Registration form I guess I would mark the "New" box in the Judging Status, as I see no reference to what status refers to what. So If you would please enlighten me as to the classes. NEW, Junor2, jornor1, Senior, and Winters Circle I would much appreciate it.

    Thanks
    Herman

Probably worth reading this through as a start. I think it will answer your questions. Especially section III, IV, and V

If never judged before as long as YOU have owned it, mark NEW.

I have added a K&M air filter for engine protection. Guess I should take that off when I get it there. I also took a plate of sheet metal and put it behind the License plate two inches longer than the plate to display the 2014 Cannon Ball Sticker. This bike was a Parts bike for the 2014 Cannon Ball. Mostly a basket case But parts of it helped several bikes make it across the US. I thought it would be appropriate. It will come off easy enough too if necessary.

Thanks for the link to the information. Being a new guy makes me feel young.

A license plate backing plate would be considered an accessory, and ignored during judging.

You didn't mention if this is a restored or unrestored machine. If unrestored the K&N filter would be considered a Service Item.
