  • Allegheny Mountain Chapter Fall Run

A few pics from our last run of season Saturday Oct 17th. We had 11 riders tough it out on a cloudy 38 degree day for the annual run through the Laurel Highlands and fall foliage of S.W. PA ending another very active riding season for the chapter. Mark McClain owner of Jam Cycle in Stahlstown had hot coffee and chili waiting for us at end of ride. Had one flathead HD with nagging electrical problems that finally had to be trailered which fortunately is very rare during our rides. It was a nice ride despite the chilly weather. I logged about 120 miles for the day and didn't want to stop. Dressed properly, riding in these temps was no problem even without a windshield.

Incrediable pictures, thanks for posting. Born and raised in Cumberland, MD. Allegheny County, MD. Miss the mountains, now living in mountain-less western OH but still nice.

Those are great pictures! Thanks for putting them up, looks like a tight little group of diehards there with a nice variety of machines.

That does it... I'm not putting mine away just yet, thanks for the inspiration Skirted!

That last picture of the Chief on that tree lined road is beautiful. Thanks Skirted.

Thanks for compliments guys. Todd Mickinack also contributed with pics. I missed getting what would have been really great scenic shots during the ride because my better half was not on back that day with her digital SLR.
