Welcome to the Forum and thanks for posting the pictures. I'm curious about the attachment to the front fork on # 103.

I studied over that too. I came to the conclusion that it was a baton strapped to the fork.

I think I would agree with Chris; looks like a tire pump.

You guys both might be right, truth is I don't know. I thought it was a little long for a tire pump, but it very well could be.

Love the old pictures - thanks for posting them. Do you have any history on them?

3 1929 JD Harleys, a 1932/1933 Indian Chief and a 1932 VL Harley. Wonder where they are today. Jerry

Thanks Jerry, I have a lot more of them. I'm trying to find a better way to post pics on here so you don't have to click on the thumbnail. I pains me to think of wear all these bikes ended up, they belong to the ages now I'm afraid.

I would like to add my thanks too. As for posting big pictures; I use Photobucket which is a free picture hosting site. There are others and I think they all work about the same way. After you sign up, you upload pictures to your own library on their site. You can then copy the IMG code, and then paste it here, like so:
