  • Need cast wheel for small Guzzi

Any suggestions for sources for used parts for an older Guzzi? Here are a few I have found so far:

    http://www.harpermoto.com/

My particular need right now is for a V65Sp that is a few years short of being antique. If I last long enough, I will have this bike until it qualifies -- and I'll ride the daylights out of it all that time. Right now, the hub on the rear wheel is so worn that I'm concerned the drive "fingers" will break through the paper thin (~3mm) walls of the receiver portion of the hub. I may eventually have a rebuild shop fix the hub, but I would like to find a replacement wheel.

Any ideas of where I might find the wheel I need?

Try Moto Guzzi classics, call the shop and ask for Mark, he probably has what you want.

Thank you for your suggestion. Mark was kind, but did not have the wheel I needed. I found the wheel at Harper's. I bought extra rubber inserts to make sure the bike remains in good shape for the next few decades I expect to ride it.
