I've achieved a running, ridable 1926 JD. Would like to trade info, pix, etc with others so I can learn more about these machines.

I plan to ride the bike and am wondering about the tires aqnd stock rims. Are these rims something to really worry about vs. "drop center safety rims". What 20" tire are guys running? Any suggestions for parts suppliers, bits and pieces?

I understand the '25-'27 had a distributor with a 2 wire cap and a single lead coil. Mine has a wasted spart disty, with a typical 2 wire coil. Would appreciate thoughts on the original part.

hello dan i have a 1917 model F that i ride around all of the time it has 28-3 tires and rims i have no problems with the tires or the bike i think you can get tires for your bike from coker tire. joe
