The 1919 came from a friend in New Zealand. It was a complete chassis and part of the engine. Of course, I got the call from my friend asking if I'd be interested in it about 3 weeks after I sold a box FULL of NOS sport model parts at Wauseon. I figured I'd never need them so... As it turned out, I needed just about everything in that box for the project. I guess that's a good argument for hoarding.
The other is a piece together. I'm not settled yet on what year it's going to be. I have several extra engines I could use but I haven't looked them over well enough to see which is in the best condition.

      Hey Mark

Would you be interested in selling or donating any of your parts? (we're a 501c so you would get the tax bonus.....) I'd be very interested in one of your stand alone engines. It would be awesome to have a display such as a cutaway beside my restored 20 model. We have several engines throughout the museum and they are all a big hit. It doesn't have to be in great condition, just on the more complete side.. Its not going to run... you know? Please let me know what you come up with! Thanks!!

Would you mind giving me a run down of your spares??

I went through my bin of oilers and think I have 1 of the type you need. Do you still need any? My gift to the Barber museum...

        Cheers,

          Hijacking this thread.
After disassembly and inventorying my Sport I found that I am missing ONE BO902 oiler. Would anyone be kind to sell me one?

Bill, thank you for the link.
The oilers from restorationstuff looks very similar, but unfortunately the sizes are off.
Harleys oilers measure ca 12mm without threads and ca 8mm hex.

Does anyone know if these oilers are used on any bike other than the Flat twin Harley Davidson 1919 to 1923
I have finally figured out how to make these oilers as they where in 1920 so that I can finish fitments on My flat twin and have some spares for others that may need them
I am looking at making 20 and getting them Nickel Plated which is I am told the original has on it.
I have had to make Jigs to help with the Assembly
I will post photo after Plating when I finish

                    Harley oiler BO 902.jpg
I have refined how I am making the Flat Twin oilers to look the same as my original ones
I have not Nickel Plated them yet as I will make a few more when I get time now I have made the jigs to Swage them together
If any one wants some please let me know
I am thinking about $25.00 each as I do not know how much it is going to plate them yet plus postage

You'd better plan on making far more.

                        I alone would like 5.

Many others are looking for these.

Reach out to me directly with your contact information.

Thank God! Now I don't have to do it. LOL
The samples that you have a picture of look spot on. Great job. They are much needed.
I would say that there is a solid market for at least 1000- 2000 of these oilers. Each bike takes 6-10 of them.
