  • Fun in SF.

    http://occhiolungo.wordpress.com/201...e-ride-photos/

I sure hope I did this right; computer-wise that is. Here's a link of what we do for fun here in the big City. San Francisco is only 7 miles, by 7 miles, and on a penninsula. We therefore have a 49 mile scenic route that is sign posted along some of our gorgeous streets. Every year, Pete & Kim Young, along with the Yerba Buena chapter of the AMCA put on the "49 Mile Ride". Pete is still on the rebound from doing the Cannon Ball on his '13 Premier, so this was really an epic event this year.
We had a blast. I understand our soft ball team did well also?

RF -- Thanks, great photos -- gorgeous Blackhawk Chief ya got and your better half had a really cool costume.

I do believe I recognize Bruce Linsday there.

Since I like to write, I always associate San Francisco with City Lights bookstore, North Beach and all that.

Speaking of the Giants, my bosses were forcing me to write these baseball columns for a while, and I once claimed to have seen Tim Lincecum skateboarding in Philadelphia and said CC Sabathia is big enough to carry a spare Lincecum around in his pocket. Guess he got the last laugh, eh?

    Here's that particular column:

Anyway, I'm really more interested in bikes. I had the '28 Scout out along the river today ... delightful, even though I'm already wearing chaps and those giant bell gloves and all that crap.

        HI Cory,
It was my Police bike, and I had some fun with one of the choppers with the siren. It was all in fun, except the Paperers hit my spotlight switch on, so I had a dead battery; the big, ultra rare, Police Battery!

        We still had a blast.

        Good on ya, RF.

Red Fred! Well it's obvious that those chopper pilots had no respect for the law! You should have written them up for tampering with Police property!! It did look like fun though with quite the variety of bikes.

Great story about Bud. He sounded like quite the fellow!!
