    Original Michigan Registrations

Many years ago, I bought a box of old Indian newsletters that came with some dealer correspondence. Within the books, I have found two original 1949 Michigan Certificate of Registrations. If these bikes are still around, I will be more than happy to pass them along to the current owners free of charge, so thought I would post them here.

    First one is for a 1941 FL - 41FL31xx

    Second is for a 1938 Indian Servi-Car - FCF77xx

The xx's are the last two, so if you happen to own one of these, let me know. I did not want to post the full number as I know some would prefer to keep their numbers off the net.

They both belonged to the same guy, who appears to have maybe been the owner/mechanic at the Indian Dealership in Ann Arbor. So the Indian mechanic was driving a Harley? Go figure...

I am an Indian guy myself, but do own some Harleys.

Does your Michigan registration actually state; "1938 Indian Servi-Car"?. KInd of funny for an Indian dealer/mechanic to call a Dispatch-Tow, a Servi-Car
