Anthony Hopkins stars as motorcycle legend Burt Munro, who, after perfecting and modifying his 1920 Indian Scout motorcycle, ventured across the world to fulfill his lifelong ambition to race at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. He ended up setting a new world land speed record.

Tokyo-based OLC/Rights Entertainment is financing the pic with the New Zealand Film Production Fund and the New Zealand Film Commission in association with 3 Dogs and a Pony.

The film, budgeted at $25 million, is lensing in and around Salt Lake City and in New Zealand.

So you want real eh! Check out Rays' photos. Poor guy was just out of quad by-pass surgery. Hope he's doing better. He took a whack 'o' photos! Great shots of the cars/bikes on site.
Also the storm aftermath and flooding on set. Film shoots are super boring. As such -I was real happy to be able to buzz his pictures pretty quick. Well, he took alot -so be prepared to sit for a while. It's a jaw dropper!

I think that this is a great continuation of C.T Rileys' coverage Vin bike at Bonn. And the TRI Streamliner resto article by Dennis Tackett. Both of which were just incredible! Thanks guys!

I wonder if the director (Roger Donaldson) would do a board track movie after this one?

Well, guess it depends on return from Munro movie. So go see it when it comes out! Buy the movie on DVD -the whole bit.
