  • Iron Foundry and pattern maker

    Hi Ho people,
now all my pre-16's motorcycle friends out there - can anyone recommend a good pattern maker and Ferrous casting company?

Looks like I have to cast a few heads for a pre-16 motorcycle + a few minor parts.

What marque/model would you be working on? Just curious....

Shaw - either coast, as long as they are good and can be trusted with an original part

Jon: Sent your request on to a foundry list I subscribe to. My little Johnson furnace just won't get hot enough to do iron.

If it were me out here I'd send it to Mike Smith ORG.

Or John at Antique Cycles Northwest. WA ; (206)-522-8010

Some new modern mold techniques are being employed now for one offs. More cost effective. Does account for shrinkage issues. So apparently very accurate.
