  • Leaking oil

I just purchased a 62 FLH after I run the engine and shut it off, oil leakes from the front exhaust pushrod tube. Can someone tell me why this is happening?

    UM,
If that is the only place it is leaking oil from consider your motor "leak free". Have you tried changing the corks. It is a simple operation just make sure the cork comes out of the head before replacement.
If your machine is stock do not be surprised when oil pours out of the primary, particulary when the bike is leaning to the right, especially when manouvering it manually (pushing it). The primary oiler is a total loss system.
I hope you enjoy your panhead. I find mine to be a comfortable 55 to 65 MPH straight line cruiser that is 100% reliable. These bikes are fierce competitors in the slow race also.
