  • Front wheel 16" question

I'm restoring 1950 WL and it needs a complete front wheel, But I think this year call for a 16" size rim

front wheel and what I see in the used market is the 18" size and replica 16" sazz rear. Is normal to

have two different size wheel on this year bike (rear wheel is 16") or should I keep looking for a 16"

    wheel? Thanks Andrew

    16"
The 16" wheel was the most common in 1950. The problem being... 16" solo fronts are unique to the 45" only because of the laced up brake drum. The spoke nipple angle is one of a kind and not interchangeable with the std. rear kind of a needle in a haystack thing and be sure you know what you are looking for. FatDog
