  • Rocket Restore

I have had this one for a couple years and finally started on restoring it. It's Indian frame model but I don't know the year. According to the Goulding website they built Rockets from 1937 to when they closed down production in 1956. I'm doing all the sheet metal work by hand and welding in a new floor and frame mounting brackets before I try to sell it sell it again.

Anyone have any ideas how to tell what year mine is?

It's slowly getting cleaned up and the nose took a lot of damage once upon a time. I have checked into metal spinning to replicate the nose cone but the local shop in Auburn WA. did not have a tooling / jig for a 22.5 inch hemisphere. Anyone out the know of a metal spinning shop that might have a jig that size? Right now the plan is to fix the floors first and work my way out to the nose.
