Bear Mountain First Annual Swap meet

Well, the Bear Mountain Chapter of the A.M.C.A. is going to venture into the swap meet area by holding it's "First Annual Bear Mountain Chapter Swap Meet". (Hopefully the first of many. We always invite other local chapters to get involved). It will be held at the Polish League of American Veterans located at 16 Legion Road, Pine Island, N.Y. on Sunday, Sept. 11th, RAIN OR SHINE!! Set-up starts at 7am and the meet will go on until 6pm. This is located approx. 1/4 mile north of Highway 1 off Pulaski Highway which is located in the heart of the "Black Dirt Region" of lower New York State. This is where most of the countries onions are grown. We are 5 miles from the N.J. line near Vernon, N.J. We are not far from Port Jervis N.Y. on the Pennsylvania line by the Delaware River. There are many wineries, beer gardens and farm stands located thru-out the area so a family oriented day is encouraged and welcomed. The riding in the area is beautiful, with 50-55mph smooth as a babies butt roads, with little or no traffic, even tho it is located only 50-60 or so miles from N.Y.C. The location has a full bar opening at noon, food, music, pavilion, spotless bathrooms for the ladies, and a beautifully maintained field for the swap meet. We are only limiting the items for sale to items that do not breathe, so bring out your hidden treasures to make someone else happy. This event will be held RAIN OR SHINE. We will have a peoples choice bike show in addition to everything else.
