Just heard Big Jim McCauley passed on a few months ago, many AMCA members have had miracles performed by Jim on their engines through the years, he had a great wealth of knowledge that he was always willing to share with others when it came to fixing Harleys, he will be missed

I met Big Jim 40 years ago back in 1976 when I bought a brand new 76FX from Sal Scripo when his H-D Dealership was on the Berlin Turnpike in Berlin CT.
Jim always appeard to be a soft spoken, kind and gentle man and he knew his stuff. Last time I saw and spoke with him was a few years ago up in Stafford Springs at the Swap Meet. RIP Big Jim. 46EL
