M342 carb and manifold

Looking to sell a barn find m342 Linkert carburetor. I think it would be from a 1942 Indian Chief. It is still attached to a manifold. Covered with many decades of dust and grime. I see nothing stripped, missing, or broken on the outside. Nothing frozen or abused looking.Have not tried to remove bowl. Want $475 shipped 48 states.

I would suspect that is an H-D "J" manifold, if the numbers cast on it are something like 508-23
At any rate, it isn't for a Chief.

The carb looks great but for an oversized screw in the later LS knob, Schebler throttlelever, and the priceless original paint rubbed off the numbers.

Nonetheless, your price is quite reasonable!

Yes Cotten, manifold casting looks like 503-23.
