  • Indian 841 transmission shifting drum

My shifting drum on my 841 is worn at the area that holds the transmission in 4th gear. I guess I could have a welder build up the missing metal and then have a die grinder return it to its original shape - and then have a blacksmith restore the temper of the metal -- I could find these people and if they could do the job without screwing up the part worse than it is now. Ideally, however, I would send the part to someone who knows what they are doing and can renovate the worn drum.

Does anyone know someone who can do this work?
Better yet, does anyone know where I can find a replacement part?
