Adapt a 1935 to 36 Corbin speedo to a 1941 741 Scout

Hello I got my hands on a Corbin speedometer and I like the look of this much better than the 741 Military speedo.

I have the 1941 741 front hub now that takes the down cable but I do not have a mount for the forks.

I am open to putting the speedo on the gas tank and running a cable to the rear. I would need all of the hardware for that option I suppose.

Any guidance or pictures of what other have done is much appreciated.
