Jeff Williams Bike Show & Swap Meet Feb 15th & 16th Oklahoma City OK

The Jeff Williams 2014 Oklahoma City Bike & Car Show and Swap Meet is this coming weekend February 15th & 16th. The WEATHER is finally going to give Oklahoma a break, and just in time! Come out & shake your Winter Blues & Cabin Fever. Right now temps are forecast in the 50's Thursday thru Sunday, and no or low chances of precipitation. Come out & search for parts for your project so you can finish by riding season, or enjoy the bikes and cars on display.
As last year, the Cherokee Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA) will have a large display with bikes, period clothing and accessories. They have tried to schedule bikes from each era or progression in motorcycle development. The earliest machine scheduled to attend is a 1908 THOR. From there up to 60's & 70's machines will be displayed with the owners close by for answering questions.
Also many local Oklahoma City organizations will have displays, BLHOT (Blimey Limeys & a Hog Or Two) will be in their traditional location in the Modern Living Building. BLHOT owners are bringing many Triumph, BSA and Japanese machines for the public to enjoy, with the Cushman Club, Rat Pack (mostly modern Triumphs), and bikes from Seaba Station Museum (Route 66, Warwick OK) sharing their display area.
The event is two (2) days, Saturday 10:00-6:00 and Sunday 9:00 to 4:00 for more information check www.jwswapmeet.com

Dwight Rinner and Lyle Henry did a great job of working with the OKC riders to help make this years show a very great event for the Cherokee Chapter. Larry Wallace and his group did a fine job of setting up a very interesting display of their motorcycles, and we did make that part of the building the place to hang out and enjoy the view. For the second year we won the best Group Award along with 20 something other trophies. Plan on seeing a good turn out for Kerrville Road Run, and the Just Kickers event the next weekend.
