    Recently bought indian 741 ,seller said engine just rebuilt,bike starts and idels fine ,when you try to ride it just bogs down and has no power,checked intake for leaks as suggested by member,found large leaks replaced copper gasgets with peek gasgets and retested to 15 psi no more leaks,checked ignition timing,plug gap ,tried to ride bike still bogs down and is untied able carb blows fine most of fuel out of carb when revved up. Any ideas what I should try next. Thanks for help jerry

      I had a seized follower roller once, with cam-lobe wear tracks. Back-firing through the carb, wouldn't accelerate. Finally checked cam gallery, fixed it.

        Doe's it roll ok? Not no brakes grabbing or anything like that is it? How about with the machine up on the rear stand, put it in gear and see how it does - doe's it bog down ? Doe's the trans turn easy? Have seen a Chief seize a shaft in the trans once, just guessing - good luck.
