I'm replacing the main or high gear needle bearing in a 83 B.T. 4 speed trans. The Koyo bearing I put in is the correct one with the smaller O.D. than the 77 thru 81 has (app. .005"). The problem is there is about a half thousandth negative clearance to the 4th. gear with the new bearing installed. I haven't found a Torrington yet to try. Anyone know about this?
