  • Please help identify this sidecar

A friend here in Western Australia has sent me a photo of his father on his 1939 U Harley with a sidecar attached. We are trying to identify the sidecar body. It was pressed aluminium body with a tonneau cover and was wide enough for one adult and a child. It also had a truck in the back. Not sure if it is a Goulding of some sort. Any help to identify it would be much appreciated. Regards

Picture? Without a picture it's pretty hard.

FYI, lots of stuff in Oz was home-made, due to the 'rural' nature of the hinterlands and the general creativity of the Aussies. May simply be home made. If you can't post a picture, PM me and you can e-mail it to me and I'll post it for you. Cheers, Sirhr

And I think Goulding started in Oz before moving to the States
