Use a hand held impact driver to remove it.

          Howdy sir,

If your machine is a solid mount 4 speed you can benefit immeasurably from installing a James Gaskets Super Nut. It contains a double lip seal on the face of the nut with a machined groove on the backside for an o-ring. This completely eliminates trans oil leaking from between the trans mainshaft and the sprocket driver sleeve, even on machines with the bushing knackered from running the final drive chain too tight. I run them on both my Shovels and even my 41 for those Knuck fans looking to stem the tide of oil laying under their primaries.
          Cheerio,
          Peter
