  • 1925 Conn. run

This is an article from Motorcycling & Bicycling, dated Jan. 7, 1925. I grew up in this small Connecticut town.

Quite the story Eric, pretty tough men and a columnist with a strong sense of humor! They laughed and decided to do it again the next year, how cool is that. Glad that was 88 years ago, not to be on the down side, but if that happened today there probably would be 88 lawsuits. Thanks for sharing. Bob AMCA# 6738

Meriden Motorcycle Club started in 1923, and is one of the oldest clubs still in existence today. AMA #75, and still doing a lot of good for the sport of motorcycling!! I've been a member for many years, and still a proud long distance member!! If ever in Meriden, Thursday evening meeting starts@ 7-8pm at the club house, lots of history on the walls--- stop in and introduce yourself! BPK!!
