  • Indian 841 carb parts needed

    Apparently, my Indian 841 bike needs everything for the choke mechanisms on both carburetors except the choke plates. That would be all the shafts and the notched plates and choke lever ramps. Robin Markey cannot find the parts; so, I am turning to you. If necessary, I would ask to borrow the original parts from a trusting 841 owner and have them duplicated.

    Would you please help me get this bike back on the road?

    George!

    Tom Fickau has produced some M841 hardware,
    and much can be easily fudged from other models.
    (The H-D M17L&R are similar design.)

    It seems the shaft differences involve the siamese linkage, shown in the attachment (geez I hope those aren't harleys);
    That, and the thumbtab, would probably be your most difficult items to find or fab.

    Otherwise, I have shaft blanks already slotted, and can easily one-off whatever length necessary, however a sample or some dimensions would be critical!

    Happy to help if I can.
