  • Electrical Contacts

I'm rebuilding the bulb sockets in two of my Harley tombstone tailiights. I was wondering if anyone knew where to acquire the small button-type contacts that are soldered onto the wires, There contacts are rounded on top where they touch the bulb contacts and have a little spike on the underside that is inserted into and soldered to the wire.

    Thanks,

        Bob,

Thanks so much for the offer , but I already cleaned up the old ones and soldered them onto the new wires. However, I would like a source from which to purchase a box for future work. I will try Rhode Island Wire, as per TomFiii, above. .

I won't be at Oley this year due to family matters....First miss in many years....
Will you be at Rhinebeck? If so, I'll stop by and say hi.

        Thanks for the lead TOMFiii

Maybe I put the wrong link up, I thought it was a package of 10. I know I saw somewhere the same thing in a 10-pack for under 5 bucks.....

Wrong! It states currant stock ten. That dosn't mean you get ten just that they have ten. Don't tell me? Shippings another $5.95. I love shoping on the net. I never have a problem taking a dump. Bob L

just below the section where it says Stock: 10, it also says, "Each pack contains 10 buttons, does not include wire."

You are correct. I didn’t realize the ad continued. I thought that was for a light socket. All in all by the time you throw in shipping that’s no bargain. No wire? McMaster is great for the shipping thing. That little packet will show up in a 12X12X10” box stuffed with paper. Bob L

Thanks, I thought I had it right...!
Even if shipping is another 5 bucks, that makes the buttons a buck apiece. If that's too much for some people, I guess they can figure something else out.
