the right spark plugs

in my 74 sporty i have #4 hd plugs in it it has 5,340 miles on it are they the plugs that came stock if not what plugs were stock? The bike sat in a barn since 1982 it looks to be stock

Your Sportster was delivered with number 4 plugs. They are the correct heat range for the bike.
