    Looking for rideable, technical sound '40-'53 Chief in Greater Chicago Area (IL, WI, IN, MI). Can be, but does not need to be a Showroom beauty. If you have interesting Chief, pls. send series of pics and price. Thanks.

    I wouldn't limit your search area to just the area you mentioned.

    If you are serious and have the cash, I'm sure one could be had relatively easy.

    Check with Rocky, Greer, Kiwi or Stark - there are several clubs that would also likely have bikes listed for sale.

      Missed your response in the last couple of days. Thanks for your tipps.

      I would like to look and feel at the bike I am buying. That's why I am searching in the area.

      The '46 Chief in Milwaukee is really nice, but I am not necessarily looking for a sidecar rig and it is too nice to rip apart ...
