    Requesting help with seat identification

    Can anyone help me ID the seat in this sidecar? It is a MILSCO seat. It is almost twice the size of a Harley saddle. I am not sure if it is a modified tractor seat, a heavy equipment seat or possibly another military application. I have exhasted searches for "antique tractor seats". I have also sent MILSCO a request for assistance but have not heard from them yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Its the only piece left that is needed for completion of this rig. The year is 1940. Thank you!

    Since that unit was a prototype and never went into production I suspect the seat was one-off and you won't find one, you'll have to build one!

        But wouldn't it be neat to have a real one? M1917 Browning, belt fed, water cooled, .30-06 Springfield. It looks like the rest of the mount is authentic in that prototype, I wonder if I could mount one in my 1945 LE sidecar?

        but I think Robbie is correct about that seat, probably a one-off.

          Restoration of "the real one " is complete, along with the 6 oak ammo boxes in the hack and a few hundred colth belted dummy rounds of .30-06 and the condensate can. Should help get the golf carts out of the way at the swap meets

            Who has it? Where is it?
            I have several different views of this bike. Sadly none of the left side so the serial number is not known.

              Monukes--More than likely, that seat was used on heavy construction equipment as Milsco was in that market as well. I have a brocheure (sp) from Milsco that shows a seat very much like the one in your post.
