  • Judging Rule

I have a 1976 BMW that I purchased brand new. It is all original except for a repaint 15 years ago. Would this bike be considered unrestored when I have it in for judging? Thanks.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you have to claim either "Original" or "Restored" on the registration sheet. If you claim original, you would get a 6 point deduction for the repaint. If you claim restored, no deduction for the paint if it is like the original but the rest of the bike must in be restored condition also.

YOU must select Original or Restored.

      What say you judges?

That is correct Louie; one must decide to enter the machine as either "restored", or Original.
