You can order your H-D colors from Antique Cycle Supply. Paint code(formulas) from yesteryear don't work with todays paints.

According to the home page at Antique Cycle Supply they are no longer mixing paint. I know that it says they do on the Paint page, but I tend to go with the homepage.
        http://antiquecyclesupply.com/default.htm:
ANTIQUE CYCLE SUPPLY is no longer mixing paint. We do have paint chips of each color available along with a complete painter's reference manual that lists the original colors that were available for each year 1903 - 1976. You may find your own paint supplier or call us and we'll refer you.

I was suckered into getting 2 paint chips from Antique Cycle Supply. I think they were $5 apiece and they were the crappiest paint samples I have ever seen. Also, the paint bled into the absorbant paper; so for 5 bucks you get a tiny, dull drop of paint on an index card. Don't waste you time or money on A.C.S. Go to John Pierce at Colorwrite.
