    wauseon judging

okaaay,Servicardenise, did your seminars have a good turnout?Did you have enough judges? How was the quantity and quality of the bikes on the field?
I enjoy all aspects of the club, but find the judging most interesting and useful.
The recent judging debate does not concern me and am not trying to stir the pot.I was unable to make the meet for various reasons and I am just curious.
    Thanks,Bob

I was trying to do more than one thing that day. During the competition discussion, they were doing the field games so I listened to that one for a bit and split to the field. It was a good turnout. During the apprentice meeting I didn't get to go so I don't know. I think that took place during the group picture on the field or when I was trying to straighten out paperwork at registration. The judges meeting was about normal turnout. The judging went well and we were able to get things wrapped up earlier than last year. I felt that overall it was a successful meet, and we had some nice machines to evaluate. We appreciated all of the efforts from the folks who made it a success. Thank you for your interest.

Thanks to all at Wauseon 2010

Wauseon was great as ususal primarily due to the hard
work of the folks who volunteer their time.

Wauseon 2010, was the first since the AMCA and the world of
vintage motorcycles, experienced a tremendous loss with the
passing of Dick Winger in May, 2010.

We would like to thank the folks who were able to attend
the presentation of the special Dick Winger Memorial Card
to his wife and long time partner, Wanda. The presentation
took place on Saturday at 10:30 am near the main Registration
          tent.

The card was printed and designed by Ted and Jerry Doering
of V-Twin and it had a picture of Dick standing by his 4 cylinder
Henderson, in his shop on the front.

I had the pleasure of giving Wanda an enlarged copy, that was
professionally mounted, for her to keep. Then thousands of
the Memorial cards were passed out to folks visiting Wauseon.

Thanks to Denise and Wanda and Del Schumacher for helping
gather the group together, on Saturday morning, while keeping
the presentation to Wanda Winger .... a surprise!
